Better customer service then the 4 and 5 star hotels we stayed on our trip. Nang (I really hope that is the correct spelling) was an absolute delight and made our experience in Chiang Mai all the better. She helped us arrange everything from scooter rentals to tour experiences outside of the city limits. Chiang Mai is a very large area and visiting some of the countryside areas is much easier if you are part of a tour group as they arrange transportation and “experience” arrangements.
Our great experience with this hotel and its staff started when we arrived. The room had a beautiful flower petal and swan folded towel arrangement that was truly a work of art and was a very nice thing to do. The staff also arranged for scooter rentals which were easy as the service picked it up and dropped it off in front of our hotel. The trip she arranged was also reasonably priced (possibly cheaper out in town but I cannot imagine by much. The fact she talked us out of the most expensive option that they offered tells me she actually cared about the experience we had for our money). I think each person was around 12-15 USD for an all day trip with transportation, a guide, lunch, and a couple bottles of water so by all means it is VERY cheap for the wonderful experience we had. We climbed to a water fall, road elephants, road down a river on a raft and finished the trip on a bamboo raft…. Bring a swimsuit as you will get wet!
The entire staff was very friendly but I think the owners should consider a pay raise for Nang. I needed a bigger helmet then the scooter company left us and she actually let me borrow her PERSONAL one. Yes, a staff member let a hotel guest who she will NEVER see again borrow her PERSONAL motorcycle helmet. WOW! Thank you so much for making our time in Chiang Mai so wonderful!

TJR was one of the best hotel i stayed during my trip to thailand. very centerally loacted at old city , 10 min drive from airport, surrounding by cafes, restro, bars, spa.
The hotel from outside looks like family run service apartments, once stepped in amazed by smiling welcome front desk staff (forgot her name she is jack of all tricks if you need anything at all) , booked studio suit nicely layout with touch of north thai influence , sepreate kitchen, living & balcony. Housekeeping was fantastic every time we stepped out and come back room was nicely clean .I sggest this place to everyone who comes to chiang mai . Keep up the good job guys !!

Everything here from check in to check out was wonderful. Nong is a great asset to this botique hotel and I really hope the owners know that and pay her accordingly. One example was the helmet I got for my scooter rental did not fit so she let me borrow her personal one! This hotel feels very safe and welcoming to all sorts of travelers. While some of the paint and grommet in the bathroom seemed a bit flimflam the place was extremely clean. I stayed at 5 star hotels in bangkok and would choose this one over the best of them any day.
