Find Bungalows in Khao Sok (Suratthani), Thailand

Bushwalking through the National Park - do take a guide. There were none available, and we tried to do the longer walk to all waterfalls and could not find the way.

It is very nice to stay there, if you want to feel nature. But everything (specially the tours) are to expensive.

Totally overlooked this area during my first two visits to Thailand - if you are looking to get outdoors, or if you want a break from the beaches and Bangkok, or if you want to go somewhere that is not very developed yet, this is a great place to visit.

Khao Sok is a vast jungle and there are various trails. We somehow got on the wrong trail and ended up on a hiking trail lol For this you need walking boots or at least trainers.

Khao Sok is a national park around a lake formed from a dammed river. There are a number of activities you can do - every activity is exactly the same no matter who offers it, but if you have children, some places offer more of a discount for them than others.

Many places to stay and eat along the road, but Thai Herb had the best food. Morning Mist was a great hotel with helpful staff.

Great for trekking the parks, I did the canoe tour as well. Rained the whole time but wasnt unbearable.

We stayed very close to Khao Sok National Park for all our activities. You do everything from either location.

Khoa Sok is an almost pristine rainforest. The national parks are spectacular. The peiople live simple lives and are very friendly.

If you like the nature the place is for you. You can book trips to jungle, lake or elephant trekking to make some activities

Khao Sok is great for people who loves nature, there's a lot of adventure tours with trekking etc. wonderful national park.

The national park was breathtaking and hands down was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in the world! It's nice that it is a bit off the beaten track.

It's a remote jungle town right at the entrance to Khao Sok National Park. It's a 2+ hour bus ride from Surat Thani downtown.

We only spent one night in Khao Sok, but got the impression that the setting and scenery is wonderful, but the quality of the accommodation is fairly variable.

The area is very chilled out. The main attraction is the national park with all its' offers (mainly hiking and animal spotting).

Khao sok is a very beautiful place in the Southern part of Thailand surrounded by high lime stone mountains which create magnificent 360 degree views.

Khao Sok is a great place to go to be close to nature. You can hear gibbons and other fauna. You can explore the rain forest in many different ways, and form your own adventure.
