"We came by ferry from Cebu City to Tagbilaran, to Larena Siquijor... It was a four hour journey as opposed to a seven or eight hour trip through Dumaguete to Siguijor… When arriving at Oceanlife, we were greeted by staff members who took our bags, and we were given a welcome drink... We were there a little early... 2pm is the normal check in time for hotels and resorts in the Philippines... I noticed that the grounds were well maintained with beautiful flora, and fauna.. The rooms were spacious, and very clean... The A/C worked very well... There is an indoor/outdoor comfort room with hot water shower.... Outdoors is a small gym, and a pool... One of the maintenance workers vacuums, and cleans the pool daily... The Restobar has good food, with both Philippino, and international dishes... The staff are all helpful, and friendly.. They will accommodate you for anything, spotlight advice, scooter rental... It is also a dive center... The owner Manuel is a Master diver.. "

"Super simple beach bungalow with bed & fan.... external bathroom (no hand basin though?) this was the only thing I wasn’t happy about and wish I had have known as a single female traveler, also, no WiFi. Great for a short stay when you’re exploring the island. "
