"The Hotel is neat and the staff are friendly. Our bedsheet and towels were changed regularly. The nearest MTR station is 5 -7 minutes walk. There is a 7/11 store near the hotel. We had also availed the free shuttle service which is a first come first serve basis. The hotel also provided us a cellphone with data which is very helpful for a tourist like us. The only regret we have is that we didn’t avail the buffet breakfast (you have to avail! Food is expensive in Hong Kong). The Hotel should install a bidet in the comfort room. Please also note that upon check in you are required to deposit a 500HKD which you can only withdraw upon check-out. Overall I am satisfied and happy that we chose this Hotel and would surely recommend to my family and friends."

"Dorsett Kwun Tong is excellent budget hotel in Hong Kong. Actually, location is not really great because, this hotel is slicely far away from MTR station and main streets as well. However, service is perfect and staff performance is outstanding. Free shuttle service is very good but, not very frequent therefore, it needs to be more often. Room condition is highly maintained all the time. I recommend to my friends to stay this hotel. I think Dorsett Kwun Tong is one of best hotels in Hong Kong."

"My mother went on this trip with her sister to visit a relative living in Hong Kong. Since my mother's flight arrived early in Hong Kong, I requested earlier check in, although the hotel did reply that they can not promise that. However, my mother arrived in the hotel around 9 am and proceed to check in. A very helpful receptionist (His name is Mr John Leung) helped my mother to check into her room right away. By 10 am, my mother and her sister was able to rest for a while before going to a meeting with their relatives. Thank you to John Leung for your helpful assistant. My mom told me the room was good enough for them to rest and the location is very near to the MTR and a shopping mall. Would definitely recommend this hotel for next visit. Keep up the good service. "Fifth hotel I stayed in Hong Kong. "User friendly" hotel, i.e., easy to understand "what to do", "where to go", "how to get there". All high priced, upscale hotels hand you a map that you need a microscope from NASA to see, and circle the directions. This hotel has taken the "initiative" to enlarge the microscopic subway map, to further assist their guests. I paid double the price for the other hotels and got the same size room and no customer service from the overstaffed "front desk" staff. All housekeepers were exceptional in each hotel. However, in addition to the EXCEPTIONAL customer service at this hotel, there is even a rooftop swimming pool to entertain the kids, as well as a spectacular view. Though it may be described by some as older and maybe could be updated, don't be discouraged. And , yep, the rooms are small. . . but it's Hong Kong. And for the value this hotel offers, you can rent two or three rooms for your family for less than one at a 5-star rated. "

"In Hong Kong hotels are very expensive, so as a solo traveler staying for almost two weeks I started to look for hostels. And I am so happy I found YHA, which is probably the best value hostel I ever stayed in. Opened in 2013, the facilities are brand new and very clean. There is a public housing museum in the same facilities, which explains the expensive renovation that YHA went through. It is a heritage site, really. Great layout and a great cafeteria with decent breakfast given the cheap dormitory rooms. Do not miss out to hike up the hill located just in the back of the hostel for a great view over Kowloon. Interesting location in Sham Shui Po - one of the oldest and more shady neighbourhoods in Hong Kong. But still only 10 minutes subway ride from the skyscrapers in Central."

"It was quite a walk up the steep slopes and stairs, but hey, it is hong kong after all right? Though the hotel was found sandwiched between two other building, it stood out due to it's small build making it easy to find. Entering the hotel, we were greeted with a very beautifully lobby area which was furnished with modern and contemporary furniture. There were two imacs available for use and even a piano, which i was very much tempted to play but my next to zero instrumental skills prevented me. We were briskly checked in and showed to our room by the efficient, if not so friendly, staffs there. We weren't exactly shocked by the size of the room, having done our research prior to booking the room. In fact, i actually felt that it was better than i'd expected it to be! It would've been very annoying to move around if we had brought big luggages but we were only travelling with backpacks so it wasn't really much of a hassle for us! Besides, when you're in hong kong you wouldn't be staying in that much since there's lots to do. Aside from that, i actually like the fact that the toilet had clear glass walls. It allowed me to watch the telly, not that there was anything to watch actually considering the limited channels they have, and go about my big business all at the same time. Also, toiletries was not provided but can be easily bought from a dispenser at the ground floor, Overall, we're really satisfied with our stay there. It was a really nice hotel with an affordable price. Unless you really don't enjoy small spaces i'm pretty sure you'll like the place! Well, we definitely did and wouldn't mind coming back if i were to visit hong kong again!"

"I travel on business very often, so a hotel that is well located, clean, with good service and staff, is clean and well organized is very important. The standard rooms at the Stanford are small, as are most reasonably priced hotels in Hong Kong, but very clean, comfortable, well arranged (for the size) and has a full sized bathroom w/shower that makes for a very comfortable stay. For the price you'll find it hard to beat anywhere in Hong Kong. Tons of great restaurants within a minute or so walk, and for the diehards that need comfort food, McDonalds is just around the corner. I have a number of hotels I use when I go to Hong Kong, but The Stanford, which I stayed at for the first time this April, just moved to the top of my preferred list."

"The Burlington was a pleasant surprise! Most hotels in Hong Kong are expensive and relatively small, and this was small, but it was great quality at a great price. It was very clean, comfortable, and modern. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very efficient! It’s in a great location on Hong Kong Island, and it was a really easy getting from the airport because the bus (A22) practically drops off right in front of the hotel! And it’s only like a 10-15 minute walk to the Hong Kong Convention Center. There are a ton of nice, cheap places to eat, a very convenient place to stay. I especially appreciated the complimentary Handy phone they include in every room, a cellphone with 4G that was super nice to have for navigation and communication while going around the city...much better than buying a sim and worrying about reception and running out of data. Overall, we were very pleased, and hope to stay at The Burlington again when we go back HK."
