Where to stay in Hua Hin / Cha-am
Hua Hin / Cha-am hotels & accommodations

I booked a flight to Thailand as a birthday present for myself. A Thai friend had a female friend that likes to travel, and I made arrangements with her to spend a week, most of which was in Hua Hin. My friend suggested three hotels in Hua Hin (smart on his part as I can not blame him if the hotel is not as good as I think it should be) and I selected the Anantara. ...

The Yana Villas located in Khao Takiab, a place which quite peaceful and quiet that 6km far from the crowded Hua Hin center city. The villa is simple (don't expect it like a 5-star hotel), and located just right beside the beach, you can watch the beautiful sunset (like the display photo) beside the pool. Eating breakfast beside the pool, enjoy the wind blows (beware t...

family vacation was our regular tradition during summer time. i chose dusit hua hin because i want to try different hotel after i had tried and got impressed with cape nidhra and intercontinental hua hin before. dusit was probably among the oldest hotel/resort in this area (other would be centara hua hin). hotel buildings were built in colonial style with thai style de...

The location of the hotel is a bit far from the downtown but they provide free shuttle service to downtown and cha am. It's convenient to explore Hua Hin and area around. Highly recommend the garden room which is just a step away from the pool. The staff at the front desk and concierge counter are attentive but the service at the restaurant is just so so. Although we ...

If you would like to spend your vacation, I think Hilton Hua Hin Resort and Spa Hua Hin / Cha-am is a good choice to stay; reasonable price, location, service, facilities, swimming pool, ocean view room . . . I could be able to walk around the hotel area where surrounding with Local Shop - Local Restaurant, especially seafood restaurant. If I have a chance to visit Hua...

from outside the hotel is condominium, but the hotel room building is well decorated separately from the other condo builing. room is very well decorated, cosy space, like other boutique hotels. swimming pool shared with condominium, well maintained with kids pool and adult pool separately, also provide enjoyable slider. my kids enjoyed pooln and slider playing a lot. ...

Marrakesh Hua Hin Resort & Spa is my number 1 list hotel in hua hin right now. The hotel is totally new with really cool decoration. Good for both honeymoon couple and family. Food is good and their staff are excellent. I love every single detail of this hotel. My family and I had a great time here. Also the atmosphere of the hotel at night is really romantic. And my c...

There aren't a lot of villa styled hotels in Hua Hin with private pools. Dhevan Dara resort is located about 15 to 20 minutes away from the Hua Hin beach / town, so it is not too far, but yet you will find peace, tranquility and away from the busy city. Very peaceful environment. Staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. Felt really at home. The only thing we wish...

It was our first time to visit Hua Hin, we are grateful to have stayed in G Hua Hin. Their staff are really nice and helpful, helped us to get a daily rental car with driver for our half-day trip, as it is difficult to get a cab in Hua Hin, transportation is an issue, they have free shuttle to night market at 6pm too, which we would have joined if we haven't booked the...

Our family have been to Hua Hin at least twice a year in the last decade. So we have a lot of experience for the difference hotel in Hua Hin. This is the first time we ever come to Hua Hin Marriott Resort and Spa. I have to say that this is exceed our expectation. The hotel is very new with a fantastic swimming pool. I haven't seen the swimming pool this size (and a lo...

this hotel is located in cha-am which is quite a distance from hua hin town itself. the hotel is really clean, and beautiful, with top notch facilities (we stayed in the jacuzzi suite, and we used the gym and swimming pool a few times). It is right there on the beach, which I assume is a nicer beach compared to Hua Hin, because it's cleaner and much less crowded. Hotel...

Everything was good about Resort De Paskani, very nice staff at the reception, room was great and it was different from most of the hotels that I had stayed before, you get the feel of "Santorini" here. Love the breakfast and coffee, staffs at the restaurant were very nice. Two nights were too short, will come back and stay here in my future visit to Hua Hin. Beautif...

This is a late review, but I still remember every detail of my stay at Putahracsa. From the moment you step in the lobby the staff would welcome you with very friendly and genuine smiles. They are not shy to approach their customers to help out and definitely did their best at servicing their customers. Any requests you'd make they did their best to help out. The serv...

this hotel was simply lovely, had decent service, and was right on the beach. it's best to know that the hotel is located in cha-am, though the address says hua hin/cha-am. the bus from bangkok went all the way to hua hin, and we were quite far from the hotel. there is another bus station in cha-am, but have them call a taxi for you or arrange for the hotel to pick you...

It was fantastic! Left me speechless. The rooms were great, the food was great. This resort is just by the beach front, breakfast with the breeze blowing in your face. The only downside that it's not near town or any shops so you'll have to take a taxi to town but it's only 120baht. Seafood is good and cheap to eat in hua hin! I am the most impressed by their staff's s...

It was good, however the flies can be irritating at times, breakfast could have some room for improvements nevertheless but for the price its decent and value for money.Wish that they had more trips for the shuttle bus service and longer duration for the evening schedule as 2 hours is not enough to slowly enjoy the night market and metered taxis in Hua Hin is hard to c...

We were looking for a nice quiet location to recover from a very busy holiday period - and we found the perfect place with the Novotel Hua Hin Cha-Am Resort & Spa. First off, the property is located on the much quieter Cha-Am section. Next, all rooms face the Gulf so beautiful views of sunrise and moonrises. Next, the staff is very friendly and helpful. There's a very ...

I came back to this hotel after a couple of years, as I remembered this is one quality hotel in Hua Hin and it still delivers exceptional service as the same. I stayed during the week to avoid too many people, which is work because it was so calm (last time I booked it was a bit busy as in high season). My room get upgrade to pool view on 4th floor which is great, than...

my husband and i spent 2 night at this wonderful new boutique hotel in hua hin, we now wish we had booked a longer stay. the hotel is only a couple of streets walk from the night market, shopping and plenty of restaurants to choose from. it only took us 5 minutes to walk to the beach, so the location is perfect. when we arrived we were promptly checked in and taken to ...

You can enjoy in buffet breakfast They have their own shuttle bus around the Hua hin and the hotel ( so you will save your money) They have Free entrance to the best waterpark in Hua Hin They have the best reservation and administration team . They are kindly and friendly I am really enjoy in my stay and I classify it as one of my favorite stay in my travel.

I have stayed at multiple hotels in Hua Hin over the years, as well as hotels elsewhere in Thailand and around the world. REST DETAIL IS AT THE TOP OF THE GAME! This is one of the best hotels in Hua Hin that we recommend. The room is very nice and clean, with extra large bathroom. Staffs are so friendly. Buffet line for breakfast is second to none. Situated in the perfect location, right in the center of Hua Hin town. But only one disappointment, the private pool is too small compared to other pools of other hotels in the sam...

The hotel located between Cha-am and Hua Hin so you can either enjoy at Cha-am or Hua Hin. Big room and Good Seaview with fully room amenities & services. Not too far from the beach you can walk or take the hotel shuttle to beach and to Hua Hin Market. The room are clean, new, comfort. Breakfast are fresh & good. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Some room can a...

As titled this is a brand new hotel, there isn't a sign from the main street to this hotel. Basically its next to Hua Hin Hospital coming down from Hua Hin Town towards Cha-Am. There's no sign on Phetkasem Rd (note to manager of hotel), you only see it once you turn in to soi 10. Hotel is not on the beach or tourist area, its basically in the middle of the main road be...

We stayed here during the long weekend (Mother's Day in Thailand). We are lucky to get a very good deal from Agoda because hotels in Hua Hin is quite expensive. We booked since 17Jul13 and check in on 10Aug13. Recommend everyone to stay here because this hotel is clean, safe, staffs are friendly and there are swimming pools right next to the beach. Also Cecada Market i...

Stayed here before and visited 2years later, really enjoyed stay again. Resort with everything on site, beach, 2 pools, many restaurants, tennis, gym. There are also few (quiet) bars/restaurants 5mins walk away if you want to eat somewhere else. Location is inbetween cha am and hua hin so can't walk to town, but taxi available for 200/300bht.

Our favorite place to stay in Hua Hin/Cha-am. Peaceful and quiet. Nice garden with plenty of birds, delicious breakfast. Have been staying there for many years; maybe time is coming for some renovations of the rooms and ventilation (in bathroom).

We stayed at The Lapa for 3 nights. We were impressed by their commitment to guest satisfaction. First, the staff came immediately to help me take the luggage once we showed up in the road. Second, they were having construction and they made it up for offering daily snack and fruits in the restaurant in the afternoon.Mostly the hotel would ask you to "understand" but T...

Beautiful resort on the beach. Lovely staff, gorgeous room and pools. Excellent breakfast with heaps of choices. A fair distance from Hua Hin City, but they do provide a cost effective shuttle service. Hua Hin and Cha-am Beaches are certainly not great (compared to many in the south or the islands) - but we were happy with the view of the ocean and the pool!
Cheap places to stay in Hua Hin / Cha-am

Stayed here twice. The first time was when we travelled as a family with 2 cars. We needed a place that provided car parking as well as one that allows dog on the premise and found Get Link through the internet. The second time was when I traveled with my partner. We really appreciate the concept of the place and its good value for money. For us, this is our best choic...

This is our go-to budget hotel in Hua Hin. It's close to the train station and a green 10 Baht bus to the malls can be caught about 2 minutes down the Soi. Rooms are older but brightly painted and everything was sufficient. It's not a luxury hotel. The staff were quite pleasant and we'll return if we have the chance.

I never stay in dorm rooms and stay in cha-am a lot but sometimes wanna spend less on accom so tried here. The beds and nice and comfy with nice blanket, they’re really private for a dorm bed, not a lot of room if you have lots of luggage, bathroom is great even has nice soaps haha Breakfast is fine and can cook eggs, toast cereals etc , Also there is a swimming pool ...

Say Cheese is a great place to stay in Hua Hin. The night market is just 1 block away, there are many good places to eat nearby, the beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. Very friendly service from the owners and staff; owner took the time to mark up a map with things to see and do in town. My room was huge, very quiet, excellent sleep quality. No a/c but the fan was good...

Jenny went out of her way to accommodate us in so many ways. She spoke very good English which made communication easy. She cooked us lots of lovely breakfasts and dinners, at a very reasonable price, which made it difficult to leave the hostel at times. We stayed there because of the excellent reviews and would have to say we were not disappointed about anything. She...

it is my first time to go Hua Hin so i booked a single private room near the beach and night market The hostal is clean and tidy, and there are totally four shared bathroom plus one shared kitchen. The hostal provide with hairdryer, washing machine, shampoo. showet gel and so on. It almost supplies all the necessary thing for a backpacker at all. Besides, it only takes...

I'd recommend this hostel to everyone! Located right in the middle of the night market, 10min walk to Hua Hin beach; 20min walk to Market Village; 5min walk to a Family Mart where you can get Orange Bus to Palace of Peace and Hope! Hostel is clean and has everything you need. Staff is the friendliest guy u can meet in Thailand! He knows well about Hua Hin, and shared ...

It was good, however metered taxis in Hua Hin is hard to come by so be prepared to bargain when you take a tuk tuk or hop on to a private taxi. Upon arrival we managed to get a transport package deal with a which took us to our hotel from Soi Hua Hin 57 to Sunshine Hostel (day1), Sunshine Hostel to Santorini Park, Swiss Sheep Farm 2012, Plearnwan Eco Vintage Village a...

We were welcomed by a very generous treatment by the host. I booked 1 triple room with shared bathroom but she gave us 2 rooms with king-size beds and private bathrooms! Besides, she was always ready to recommend us things to do and see and where to catch a van back to bangkok. Highly recommend!

When I arrived I was the only one there, so it was peaceful and quiet. The vibe is cool; old choppers and quirky decorations. The woman who ran it also worked in the restaurant nearby, but it was easy to call her if I needed her. I hired a motorbike for a day, 180B, worked fine. The room was kinda crammed with beds, but as I said, I was the only one in it for one night...

It’s a super nice hostel!! It has a good location, quite near to the Hua Hin night market, about ten minutes walk to the beach, and there are lots of good restaurants around. The staff is super kind, enthusiastic and patient. You have to take off your shoes before go in, the room is super clean and the bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend Mad Panda!! Hope I ...

Just one day stayed in this hotel , but feel like a family. Location close to the attractions just 45 mins by bus or taxi for 35 mins to the Santorini park or swiss farm but strongly recommend to hire a car to take u to these places becuz they are on highway with swiss farm on the left hand and santorini park on the way to come back BKK from Hua hin, and no u-turn. But...

This guesthouse is not located in Hua Hin. Its located in Cha Am which is 25-30 minutes to Hua Hin by Tuk Tuk. We arrived around noon and was welcomed by a nice and friendly lady. She then called her husband (owner) and her husband starts yelling at us saying the hotel is fully booked. We showed the Agoda receipt and he start mumbling. We booked two rooms for 6 people ...

I enjoyed my stay in Hua Hin and the hostel was really great. Rooms are small but nice, and beds are separated with curtains for privacy. Every bed also has a mirror and security box and my even had an awesome view directly to the pier. The area on the roof was very nice, with complementary coffee, tea and biscuits. It was great that there was a fridge and a mini kitch...

The facility was not prepared for our arrival; and our room was not ready for us. They promptly made up for it by upgrading us to a larger room. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The facility is just down a side Soi from a wonderful stretch of Cha Am beach. Good places to eat within easy walking distance.

What can I conclude for overall trip is awesome. Eventhough the interest places in Hua Hin is not meet my expectation errmm.. exceptional (as what google said) but, I do enjoy this place much. Do not worry about wifi, swimming pool, rental car/ bike/ motorcycle. Everything is here. The price is absolutely reasonable & affordable. The important thing is, it located nea...

The room I had was huge and so clean. I stayed for about 2 weeks. The owner is very helpful with booking a scooter for a weeks. She had great information about what to see and where to eat at. I had the best time in Hua Hin and it was nice to come back to a place that was like a home.

Ideally located for getting your bearings around Hua Hin. Very close to Bintabaht and the most active nightlife in Hua Hin if that's what you're looking for. Also very close to Hua Hin beach and a street with several good restaurants a few of which front on to the sea and serve excellent sea food. The guesthouse itself is pretty basic, but it had all my requirements....

This hotel is a basic, well situated place, Great value for the price What makes this place stand out is the lady manager, she was so helpful that it was well beyond her duty. She is a great asset and I wish to thank her for all the help and assistance she gave. Basic hotel great staff !!!!!

Family run. Superb location. Super comfy beds, pillows and sheets. Great view if you're at the back. Nice bar and pool table. Garden. Air con and fan which I like because I don't always need the air con. I stay in Hua Hin three months a year and have stayed in many hotels in this price range. This is amongst the very best. Walkable to the market, beach and bar str...

Very nice stay and first time I give full mark to a place for stay. Great location, in middle Hua Hin town, walking distance to night market and railways station. Near to Hua Hin clock tower, the place that minivans from Bangkok stop at. Staff know little bit of English but not so fluent, anyways still can do simple communication. Very big room and clean. Free compleme...

Great budget hotel in Hua Hin. We stayed here 1 night for the food festival. It has a convenient location around 5-10 minute walk to the beach and Queen's Park. Be careful about opening the doors. Some of the rooms are overlooking an overgrown wasteground/forestry area... If the doors are left open you will get a lot of bugs/insects inside. Nice hotel - would visit aga...

Cheap price, Friendly Staff, near van station, near rent a bike place. Location is great enough although in the night is a little quiet. A lot of bar nearby. additional: if you want to go to Pattaya you can buy ticket in advance at www.belltravelservice.com, it's only around 15 US$, and the bus is very comfortable (have toilet inside the bus, no stop) You can rent a...

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The price was exceptionally cheap and yet the air, internet, and staff performance were all great. This is one of the best 'budget' hotels that we've found in Hua Hin, but also in most of Thailand. The furniture and decor is a bit dated and beat up, but it doesn't detract from the stay at all. Great value for money at thi...

We stayed 2 nights at the Grand Suite in the 3rd floor of the main building of this small resort hotel which came with 2 spacious bedrooms (one with bathtub and the other with shower), spacious living and dining rooms and a balcony with the view of this resort's impressive swimming pool and beach from the living room. Have to pass through the resort restaurant to get ...

Every thing is recommendable, from the rooms, price, environment, facilities, staff, breakfast and location. It is quite far from Hua hin center but they have a free shuttle for clients. Most of the staff are warm and helpful, but they can improve their breakfast a bit more. See you next time. We're going back with some friends.

I was travelling with my husband and 4 year old daughter. We had an awesome stay for Royal Pavilion. Definitely the best hotel in Hua Hin if you are planning for a holiday here. The hotel room is value for money, clean and looks very new. I think the housekeeping department made a very good job here. Location is just perfect. Just a few steps to Family Mart, a few mi...

We found Hisea Hua Hin Hotel by chance when we we're talking to a local across the street from the hotel. We told her that we're searching for another hotel to stay at for the remaining 3 more weeks of vacation in Hua Hin. She immediately pointed to Hisea Hua Hin Hotel across the street which according to her, just barely opened for business. We decided to check it out...

Cha am is mainly a Thai resort, quiet, great beach, great seafood everywhere and friendly. Great value hotel if you are here during the week. Super large, bright rooms with balcony overlooking the sea about 100 meters away. Good gym, nice swimming pools but much smaller compared to the well-taken photos. Breakfast is very expensive here - many cheaper options are just ...

i found this hotel in the hua hin/cha-am listings but in reality, this hotel is quite far from hua hin, in pranburi. but its distance away from hua hin turned out to be one of the things i liked the most. this hotel (villa) is more like a time share where the developers rent out the properties on the owners' behalf. the villas are quite new, tastefully decorated, ...

If there was a choice of six-star to rate, I would give them six stars. We went to Hua Hin to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. The staff welcomed us with a specially decorated room. We were very well attended by well-trained staff from the moment we stepped out of the car until we came back home. The breakfast was also very good. Before I left the hotel, I wrot...

This hotel is a bargain....a minute walk to the beach....I recommend you eat at the restaurants where the fishing harbor is located...fresh...good....and good prices...you can rent a bicycle to go there....look for all the colorful fishing boats...and you will be at the right place...you can watch them unload their catch...The hotel is nice...older...but maintained.......

This was my second holiday in Hua Hin previously staying in Let's Sea next door 3 yrs ago and all I'm going to say is the Staff are what makes this hotel not that there is anything wrong with the hotel far from it however from the Reception staff to the ladies cleaning the rooms during the day nothing is too much trouble to make your stay more relaxing so thank

Really nice villa in Hua Hin that is more or less pretty affordable! Firstly, they were kind enough to allow us to change our booking dates Free of Charge when we got Agoda to call them as we had make a huge mistake on our booking dates. We were treated with 5 star service from the staff from the minute we arrived till the minute we checked out. The pool was nice to ta...

We chose this hotel as it seemed to offer modern, clean accommodation at a very reasonable rate and was an easy drive from Bangkok for a long weekend. It proved to be exactly this. The rooms are set out in 2 blocks, which although close together as is often the case in Cha am or Hua Hin, were screened from each other with lots of greenery. Our room had a seated balcony...

long time (10 years) staying at least annually in cha-am. first time at the tara mantra resort. booked 2 rooms in b section which were above expectation for the price in chaam. in comparison with similar resorts on cha-am beach the actual rooms were better maintained, bigger, better cable options, free wi-fi that actually works in the room and with beach views. another...

From being met off the bus from Bangkok Airport to the moment we left, we were made to feel very special indeed - we wish to say thank you to every single member of the team who was so helpful and courteous and friendly towards us. We travelled to Hua Hin to visit the Wildlife Friends of Thailand animal sanctuary (also highly recommended) and we only wish we had had t...

we talked with a local guy during the trip to Hua Hin and he said this is the best hotel in Hua Hin. Indeed , it is. Very good and polite people. It is best for honeymood and fully relaxing holiday. Just spend half day in Monkey Moutains by taxi or by public bus ( green) and half of the time on white sandy beach which you could reach there with your pajama on and take ...

The resort was provided as an absolutely comfortable environment and very nice welcome staff. My mum also loved their breakfast and private swimming poor. The rooms were done as a lovely decoration with worldwide standard facilities, even in the bathrooms....I did like the bathroom door actually. The staff and the owners which are present during our stay created a very...

Cha Am has little in the way of nightlife but it’s a great beach resort town. 99%locals who look like they come for a day or two. The beach is very nice. There are sun beds but they are pretty much packed together. We opted for the hotel pool with long walks on the beach. The staff at the hotel were great. Ton was there too take care of us and the hotel and restaura...

Clean new hotel in Hua Hin. Nice spacious rooms, clean, huge grounds. Staff was amenable to requests, which helped our make our stay better. The location is fine if you rent a vehicle/scooter, however a bit out of the way if you don't. The hotel also offers shuttles into town 3 times a day which makes it a bit easier.

Like the exterior and interior designs a lot. location is far from Hua Hin and Cha-am city centers so it's great if you want to stay away from the crowd. beach outside the hotel was scattered with shells, it's not the best portion of the beach but further up north is better. the one bad thing about the roo is that the bed is composed of two twin beds, so if you go as ...

5 min driving from Hua Hin airport. Choose this hotel due to our early morning return flight. There is family mart nearby 5min walking distance. 10min driving to Hua Hin night markets, 20min driving to Cha Am beach. Staff is friendly, hotel breakfast buffet is good with variety choices, rooftop infinity pool is small but consider good for this small hotel. This hotel h...

Staff is always smile when they see me and help me everytime I need them. Breakfast is wonderful and delicious. I cant stop to loving Vann. On scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this 11. Very love!
Luxury hotels in Hua Hin / Cha-am

Marrakesh Hua Hin Resort & Spa is my number 1 list hotel in hua hin right now. The hotel is totally new with really cool decoration. Good for both honeymoon couple and family.

Hotel...

I have just returned after two blissful days at the Devasom Resort in Hua Hin. This place is exquisite and I just didn't want to leave!!! What I loved about this place: 1. It is unique...from the hand-picked antique furnishings in the lobby, the original set of Encyclopedia Britannica from early 1950s in the gorgeous library, to the deliciously refreshing welcome d...

Food quality is not good at all and super expensive (to compare it’s almost 2 times the price more than so Sofitel Hua Hin where the food is excellent). Choice of Cocktail and alcohol is very poor and many items missing. To get 5 stars hotel managing should improve many things about food and beverage department. I give a good rewards to the staff which is so ...

The only one problem for this villa excepted is some items are broken and needed to be fixed or replaced. The rest is all about beautiful, specious and comfortable villa! Staffs are super friendly and helpful when needed. Location is 10min drive from Hua Hin City and just a min to floating market. We really enjoy staying there and will look forward to be back again!

Lovely hotel but a little bit too far out of Hua Hin itself. Courteous, helpful staff. Exceptionally clean but we were bitten by mosquitoes every single night whilst in the room. Despite asking for room to be sprayed properly it still continued to happen. I have never stayed at any hotel anywhere I. The world and been bitten in my room. For this reason I doubt I would ...

I thought this hotel is new in Hua Hin & Cha Am but something in my room said it's not. But I still love hotel's design and swimming pool and also love service mind of all staffs especially bell boy because they always smile even though the weather was so hot. Room service is very delicious and price is cheap.

Every time I stay here its perfect. I love the setup, I love the decoration, the architecture and its usually not busy if you go during the week. Last time I went in low season and the breakfast buffet did not have as many items as high season and the layout was not so much but it makes sense when they only have a few guests. I really cannot recommend this place eno...

The one bedroom villa suite come with a bedroom and a living area separated by a short pathway. Both has a shower and toilet attached. There is a fridge in both room. We lived at the pool side suite for 3 days and 2 nights and it is for sure the most memorable and relaxing holiday we have ever had. Perfect seaview and food price is very reasonable. I have to say I choose the right hotel for my honeymoon, Sheraton has arranged for a free champagne with special decoration for my room. I have truly enjoy my honeymoon stay in this hotel, with great ...

The Pool is quite good, we really enjoy to play there. The Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful, they would arrange seafood BBQ for guest upon our request. I think a week in Hua Hin would be enough for most people. It's a great place, but same, same after a while!!!
Different from PATAYA but populated residential European. Still developing new PLAZA but giant mall like Central, MALL.
Markets are worth a visit but not so good to get excited about. Worth leaving room in your suitcase but the traffic can be overwhelming at times.
Cha-am is mainly visited by retired people who like to spend cold European winter to a better place. You can find many hotels for 30 USD/night and it’s calm.
