"If you are in Seoul for COEX, Hotel Peyto Samseong would be the best place to be. Easy arrival/departure by taking the airport shuttle and stopping at CALT. You can even do advance check in if you are taking authorized Airlines partners. Food is of no problem.. Breakfast spread offered by the hotel is acceptable. Only slightly negative.. pillows are too soft."

"This hotel is located in an upscale business district in Seoul and is designed to cater to international travelers. This is not the place to stay if you’re interested in a Korean-feeling experience, look, but is the place to stay if you want convenience and centrality. Subway stops are really close by. The front desk staff is very professional and speak pretty good English. There’s a large comfortable lobby and a 7-Eleven next door, well-stocked with alcohol. The rooms are quite lovely—like other hotels I stayed in in Seoul, the entire room is automated and starts working once you insert your room key in the wall socket. This one was even more automated than others, with light sensors tracking what part of the room you were in. I had an incredible view of a valley of shorter buildings surrounded by skyscrapers. The bed was firm, like all the beds I experienced in Seoul, although this one was maybe a touch softer, which was nice. There was a TV. There were the standard slippers and robe"

"I have been to Seoul more than 30 times and usually book this place because of its location. It is right in front of Itaewon station, very convenient in city center, good access from airport and easy to move around. The room is clean and has free and fast Wifi. They used to have Korean Sauna at B1F but now the size is smaller, I still enjoy it though. Their staff is there 24/7 and helpful, they speak English and Japanese too. Money exchange is also available at the reception. One comment I should make is the noise from the neighbors, since Itaewon is a "night town" in Seoul, there are many people at clubs, pubs, etc. around this hotel and it could be loud (even in the hotel room) especially Friday and Saturday night. Single travelers or young couple should be fine but it might be not suitable for the family with young children. Also in summer they have small swimming pool at 5F and many, many people from outside of the hotel visit, so the elevator could be crowded sometimes."

"The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. Whether you get a newly-renovated room or one of the old rooms depends on your luck and your booking. I stayed at the Koreana Hotel on two separate nights in February. On the first night, we got an old room. There was no bath tub and the furniture was visibly old. On the second night, we got a new room with new furniture and a bath tub. Service was good. Generally helpful and multi-lingual. Checking in and out was a breeze. Housekeeping does a great job. The old room might have worn-out furniture but everything was immaculate. Towels and toiletries were plentiful. When we were confused by the heating/air-conditioning system and asked the front desk for help, they rendered it promptly and with no problems. Nothing to complain about. I was only sad that no bathrobes were provided. As for location, there are direct buses (both the KAL limousine and the other airport limousine) to and from Incheon airport so it's not a problem for international travelers. It's also right in between two subway stations--Gwanghwamun (orange line) and City hall (green and dark blue line) which are pretty much the main lines in the Seoul subway. Good price for a hotel in Seoul that provides everything you could need for a comfortable stay. "

"This is a new hotel recommended by my friend It was our wedding anniversary trip to Korea , the hotel has kindly upgraded us to a suite with the view of Seoul Tower and even wrote a congratulatory note with chocolates. This is very thoughtful The reception staff are very helpful and friendly, they can converse in English very well. The facilities of the hotel are really very thoughtful, there is lounge on the top floor to see nice view of seoul, with free coffee and water. Every floor there is ice maker machine and ironing facilities. The room I stayed are very clean and spacious (space is problem in most seoul hotel) so we choose this place due to its room spaciousness. The walk to myeongdong is about 15mins (not too far) which is perfect to be away from the noise yet convenient. The stay was perfect, i will definitely choose this place again when i go back to seoul! "

"New hotel. Friendly and professional staff. Nice view from rooms and roof top. Rooms are spacious and the bath tub is nice. A short walk to the fun area of Hongdae with cafes and markets on way. Negatives: The toilet is not smart. Stayed at 4 hotels in Seoul and each hotel room had a toilet that flushed itself and kept the seat warm. Was a minor let down. Also, is non smoking in all rooms and rooftop. Major negative. Especially for the outdoor areas. I cannot comment on pool area as didn't visit due to the additional charge to use the pool (and too busy out shopping and exploring) but would be crazy if cannot smoke at pool either. Overall was one of my best stays in Seoul and would certainly stay again. The front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. "

"It is my 6th time to be in South Korea but my first time to stay at Hotel Peyto Gingham. The experience is awesome, 10/10 I would say for the price given. I checked in the hotel at 12:30AM at midnight and the location of the hotel was easy to find even when it was all dark outside. The hotel staff was being very helpful and kind as they reminded me that the Zen Double room I booked do not provide real high beds. So they offered to let me have a look at both the Zen Double and Deluxe Double rooms first before choosing which one to stay at since my stay was for 7 nights. Both rooms are fine and look comfortable but I eventually chose the one closer to the elevator. The hotel is located at the main street: Gangnam-daero and is just 3 minutes away from Yangjae Station (Line 3, exit 2). Although it is in Gangnam, with line 3 it only takes one to get to the touristic or shopping areas in Gangbuk within 35 minutes (i.e. Eujilro station; Myeongdong; Jongno... etc). Everything inside the room was great and the room looked really like a compact yet comfortable studio flat, at the centre of Gangnam (Seocho-gu). I stayed in various hotels in Seoul before (Lotte Hotel in Euljiro; Skypark Central in Myeongdong; Classic 500 in Konkuk Uni and etc), but I'd rank Hotel Peyto Gangnam as my first priority given its excellent location, clean and modern room, helpful front desk staff members and the not-too touristic feel that area gives. "Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong is the best hotel in Seoul because it's a new hotel with good room rate. Free in-room wifi. $10 (each trip)Limo bus #6015 to & from Incheon International airport. Do not forget to inform the 6015 bus driver to drop you in front of KEB(Korean Exchange Bank)Myeongdong, where the hotel is just located behind this building. Hotel Lotte is just situated cross the street and Myeongdong shopping is just in front of this hotel. Hotel provides maps and customer service could speak good English. Lots of good Korean Restaurants just in front of the hotel or within walking distance. Most of the scenic spots could be reached by underground train and the station entrance is in front of the hotel too. Do not forget to stay in this hotel when you travel in Seoul. "
