"Let's review it one by one: PRICE: I'd say the price is fair considering it's a new hotel (that is just my guess). Capsule hotel is suitable for solo traveler or people who only need a place to spend the night. LOCATION: It's good if you want to explore Malioboro area and around. But if you drive your own car, it can be tricky since there will be traffic jam near Malioboro road at night (I stayed at Saturday night). But no worries, parking area for car is available there. CLEANLINESS : I like that the towel is so white and looked like new. Sometimes the closets are wet. STAFF : The water ran out twice during my stay there, first around 7 pm and second around 8.30 am on the next morning. No warning about that and it ran out while I was taking a bath (around 7 pm). When I asked the receptionist, he only said that the water run out and need the tank needs to be filled again for a while. No apologies there. No information on how long it will takes if I didn't ask him about that. Then i had to postpone my bath time. The next day, I had a stomachache and wanted to go to the bathroom when my brother told me that he heard another guest asked about the water. And I ended up not going to the bathroom. I knew it wasn't entirely the staff's fault, but the fact that they couldn't handle the case properly really made me upset and showed me how bad their management is. Also, they let soap dispensers (almost) empty for a while, and it was hard to get soap out of it. FACILITIES : Locker worked well. Inside the capsule is pretty cool with TV and adjustable light. Considering all the factors, I don't think I will be back again. If you are not come alone, there are better places with competitive price you can pick. If you split the cost, I think it won't be that far different from the price here."

"We lodged in two rooms, one single room on 3rd floor with spacious comfortable bed, clean, neat, though small but very well arranged. Other two bed room on 2nd floor for my two growing boys. Its a modest stay, perfectly match with the location and surrounding. Breakfast is good and sufficient, only need to find the right time to get a nice table near the pool, otherwise the resto is too small for the many guests they have. Staffs are very nice, fast and competent, even to organize and get my rented car parked and retrieved from somewhere, as the parking place in front of the hotel is too small for more than 10cars. The street is narrow and need to be patient for getting in and out with cars, but its yogyakarta anyway, enjoyfull. There is prawirotaman tradisional market at one side of the hotel, the street will be blocked from that end during early morning time. in all, a good priced, well located, artistic and nice hotel, with its forgetable minus."

"To sum up, this hotel is simply amazing from all point of view. Personally I would say this could be one of the best hotel in Yogyakarta and one of the best that we have stayed throughout our travel around the world. Excellent hospitality from the point of check in to check out. The hotel is located 0.5km from the biggest shopping mall in Yogyakarta (the Ambarukmo Mall). The hotel provides complimentary shuttle services to Ambarukmo Mall/ Lippo Mall and also to the famous Malioboro street shopping district. Malioboro street is around 20 minutes ride from the hotel. Room: We stayed in the premier double room. The room is clean, comfy and huge, The birthday setting was superb with personal touch from the hotel staffs. Cleanliness it top notch. Common area: No matter which corner you walk to, the entire hotel is clean and shining at all times. 6 star! Check out their green house/hydroponic garden. A must see. Pool: Big, clean and suitable for both adults and children. Breakfast: One of the best spread that we have seen. Overall it exceeded our expectations. From Indian food, to local and western, name it and they have it all right there. Complimentary cakes, cappuccino or even espresso!!! I will take some time to honour the following hotel staffs who had gone beyond their time and effort to ensure we had a fantastic stay: 1. Via - Verandah Restaurant - Excellent personal touch in preparing our cocktail. Very attentive and humble, 2. Jasmine - Retreat Spa -Though we didn't use the spa this time, the spa looked amazing. She took the time to take me for a tour and a personal thanks to her for recommending a nice hangout spot to chill out in town. 3. Retno - She was simply fantastic. From the point we arrived at the hotel, she was right there waiting for us to ensure that we had a smooth check in. She treated us with Bak Pia while waiting for our check in. The best part, she brought the birthday cake to our room to surprise my wife with a birthday song. Best birthda"

"I had a great time at Dusun - the staff are outstanding and they will go out of their way to help you! Definitely have some massages, so cheap and relaxing! The pool is wonderful and most rooms are 10 steps away from it. The best thing about this hotel is that for most rooms, it takes 30s to get from the entrance to your room, unlike in other hotels with lifts and long corridors. The a/c workes flawlessly, and the ground floor room sheltered us from the prayer calls, which never woke us up. The food at the hotel is pretty good and cheap for Indonesian standards (don't go to indonesia for the food), make sure you sip a coconut by the pool at least once. The room decor is exquisite and homely, so much so that I purchased the soap holder to take back as a gift! I loved this place and if I'm ever back in Yog then I'll definitely come back! "

"We initially booked this hotel for 2 days, coz we thought we might want to move and experience another hotel. It turned out this hotel is great, so we booked the hotel for the rest of our stay in Yogyakarta. Mostly this hotel is booked by the local Indonesian, I rarely see the foreigner in this hotel. The breakfast was great, a lot of variety of food. We also tried the Jogyavaganza, culinary experience of local Yogyakarta foods by the pool on every Saturday. It was good. I just feel the area of the elevator is a little bit too stuffy and hot. Other than that everything was fine.."

"First time i booked a hostel in Yogyakarta and i I chose Wake up homestay. I was amazed by their service..and how the hostel is. The location not so far from Tugu station, malioboro, trans jogja and beringhajo market. The bed pillow n blanket so comfortable. They had nice bed bunk with 100% excellent privacy, clean bathrooms. The space between other beds were wide where u can't find in other hostel, they also provided a locker to keep my belongings safe. The free trip they made for the guests to the waterfall totally unforgettable, i hope wake up homestay can be well-known for those who wants to stay in Yogyakarta. 🙏🏾🍁"

Discover the Best Time to Visit Yogyakarta for Your Dream Vacation

Yogyakarta, also known as Jogja, is a vibrant city located on the island of Java in Indonesia. It is a popular destination for travelers from all over the world, thanks to its rich cultural heritage, stunning natural landscapes, and delicious local cuisine. However, choosing the best time to visit Yogyakarta can be a bit tricky, as the city experiences two distinct seasons: the wet season and the dry season. The wet season in Yogyakarta runs from October to April, with the heaviest rainfall occurring from December to February. Despite the rain, this season can be a great time to visit, as the city is lush and green, and the temperatures are cooler. The wet season is also the low season for tourism, which means that hotel rates are generally lower and there are fewer crowds to contend with. On the other hand, the dry season in Yogyakarta runs from May to September, with June to August being the driest months. This is the peak season for tourism, as the weather is sunny and pleasant, making it ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities. However, this also means that hotel rates are generally higher, and the city can be crowded with tourists. Ultimately, the best time to visit Yogyakarta depends on your preferences and travel plans. If you are looking for a budget-friendly trip and don't mind a little rain, then the wet season may be the best time for you. However, if you want to enjoy the city's outdoor attractions and don't mind paying a little extra for accommodation, then the dry season may be the way to go.
