Minato hotels & places to stay

"Hotel Water Gate is a design hotel that pursues extraordinary relaxation and comfort. It features calm lighting and high-quality interiors, creating a serene atmosphere that allows guests to forget the hustle and bustle of the city from the moment they arrive. Each room is equipped with a large television and spacious bathrooms, catering to a wide range of situations from couples to business use. The rooms, especially designed with an emphasis on bathtime, are highly popular, featuring larger bathtubs, jet baths, and mood-enhancing lighting, all designed to prioritize relaxation. Additionally, the rich room service offerings are also a charm, and there is a thorough consideration for privacy with smooth check-in and check-out processes, as well as unmanned payment machines. The style where guests can enter directly from the parking lot is supported for its ability to provide privacy. There are plenty of seasonal campaigns and free services available, which contribute to its high cost-performance ratio and popularity. Hotel Water Gate is perfect for those who want to indulge a little or wish to relax and forget about time. It is a place that gently heals the fatigue of everyday life, providing a space that balances comfort and privacy."

"As the title suggests! It seems that reservations are required by 2:00. The old building is a concern, but the room is spacious and clean. The amenities are well-equipped, and services such as costume rentals are also plentiful. The location near Nagoya Port is recommended for visiting nearby aquariums, amusement parks, and for enjoying activities in Nagoya."

"With three children, there are few accommodations where the whole family can stay together, but this hotel was very nice, spacious, and clean. The exterior of the building showed its age, but the interior was new and tidy, with stylish and functional furnishings. The cute wallpaper and the design of the bunk beds made the children very happy. The location was convenient, close to the Nagoya Port Aquarium and easy to access the suburbs, making it a comfortable stay. The staff communicated regularly before and after our stay, which made us feel reassured. When we go to the Nagoya area again, our family is definitely planning to use this hotel."

"For adult travelers or older kids it is fine. For families with small children, the parking is not ideal because it requires a 3-5 min walk; loading and unloading kids in and out of the car would be an issue. The street in front of the house is very narrow and temporary stopping in front of the house can cause inconvenience to nearby residents. There are no stores within walking distances either, so imaging if you want to run to the store for supplies, one person stays at the house to watch the little kids while the other person walks to the parking lot and hit the store, then carry the bags from the parking lot back to the house on foot, or park temporarily on the street to unload the bags, then park at the parking lot and walk back. It adds up. Also the swing and rock climbing wall in the photo were not compatible with our kids under 4 years old because of safety concerns and difficulty. Sleeping arrangement is good because the beds could fit one adult and one child per bed. Having laundry is also very useful. The staff responds timely to inquiries and are courteous. The drive to Legoland was about 17 min in our experience."
