amazing service by all staff at kebun. hotel transfers waited for us even though we were 2hours delayed. we got to the hotel and were greeted with a drink and wet towel. then promptly shown to our amazing room. the photos dont do this place justice. we booked a trip to the gilis through the front desk and wow! what an amazing trip. the hotel is located right behind the sheraton (apparently you can use their facilities - pool slides etc) and a short walk from the art market. we had planned to go into the town for dinner but after having lunch at the bamboo restaurant which is located in the hotel we literally didn't leave! the food was 5 star and always a huge dish for what you paid! we loved it. the staff were amazing although some have very little english it was not a problem though. in fact one of the restaurant staff was learning english and used us to practice - it was an amazing experience. the rooms were cleaned while you ate breakfast - speaking of which the breakfast was awesome! you had 4 options to choose from and if you were really hungry you could just order the works - eggs, waffles, croissants, bacon and sausage, museli - you name it they will be sure to have it. great value for money! awesome if you want to just relax in your own room - or play some pool and have some drinks by the main pool.

this hotel earned its exclusiveness of the island because the beach just feels like it was our own private beach, different than other gili trawangan region (west and south side of the island) that is fully packed with hotels and bars. for travellers that is looking for a place that's quiet and beautiful, to relax and avoid the crowded nightlife, this hotel is perfect. the breakfast are top notch quality, something that i would expect from a five star hotel, serving local and international foods, although for a few days the menu would be quite boring. something that we regret for choosing this hotel is it's lack of transportation, because of the location is on the far west side of the island, clearly it is difficult for us to go to the south and east side of the island to reach the harbour and the island center, the cidomo fare to this hotel is very pricey (rp for one way trip), the bike rent fare on this hotel is 2-3 times more expensive from the price that we can get on the east side of the island. for you who have strong legs, i suggest to walk a bit (30-45minutes) while enjoying the beautiful views of gili trawangan.

We are a group of friends of 5 person. We had experienced the 7.0 earthquake exactly after our late check in. However in such a terrible situation, the hotel staffs still act in a professional way to taking care all their hotel guests. They tried their best to accommodate us, provide us with blankets, drinks & breakfast in the situation of limited sources. We felt very warm. Although we no chance to stay there, the great hospitality already make us to give them 5 stars. Take care, and all will be fine soon. We sure will come back to your resort again in the future.

Only had one night at Avia, but it was a night to remember. The pool was very clean, staff always ready to help, the nightly barbecue offered big portions and the room as well as the private pool were very clean. The rustling of the thatched roof in the wind offered respite from the thumping coming across the water from Trawangan, but we were so tired and the bed was comfy enough to whisk us to sleep. Easy to book a glass-bottom boat nearby and for very cheap! And easy to board a private boat to Trawangan, although not so cheap. Again, staff already ready to help. I'd come back again!

This IS how other high class hotel should look up to. The level of service and staff attitude should be a hallmark for a 4 star hotel other international hotels should emulate. I stayed in room #4 thru Agoda which is the Cozy budget room. This is 1 of 4 small rooms that is 2-storied. Bottom floor is the bathroom and sitting area. A spiral stairway lead upstair to the small room with a queen size bed. Since the first 2 days we was on an all day-tour, a room with a bed is all we wanted. The upstair room is closer to the coconut trees, so at night all you hear is the leave waving sound as if it was raining. I am happy with the price I paid (same as booking directly thru the hotel). A day after I booked the cozy budget room, I changed my plan to stay 2 more nights to just relax in the resort. Since I have 48 hrs in the resort I choose Queen bed Ocean View. I thought me and my wife would make the most of our honeymoon. Therefore, I went to Agoda (I have been a faithful Agoda customer for the last 5 years making min 5 trips/yr) and made my booking. Like I said before the price booking directly thru the hotel website and Agoda is exactly the same. However, the Agoda voucher stated the room is for 1 occupant only. So I emailed to customer service requesting a new voucher with 2 person accommodation. PuriMas webpage stated 2-persons for the same room, same price, and for the same 2 nights of staying. I cut-and-paste the picture of the hotel webpage showing 2-person rate for the Queen bed Ocean View room. After 4 emails I got the reply from the customer service that they have to charge me double for 2 persons (1 person US$127 nett, 2 persons would be US$254). Outrageous! Even though I shown them the web link and a picture of what the hotel charged for 2 persons ($127 nett). They do not bother to verify. I then cancel the reservation thru Agoda and book the same room, same dates, same 2 person accommodation for US$127 thru PuriMas Hotel

After I did travel from Gili island , I choose this hotel for the last stop and this is my right choice ever! I was booked as a Neima ,when I came in the room ,is it so fabolous , all the photo I saw in here are true, well open bathroom , nice living room with many choices tv programme, the bed is awsome. First day, I was tired, so I stay in hotel's restaurant, although need to climb up a bit stair, it is worth it. There have Infinity pool beside, all waiters are very nice, they also can remember my name in the following days and also the food were delicious with the fair price, I had 2 nights dinner in there at last!!The hotel will had some activites for their guests but you need to look at a notice board for first and booking in the front desk, if not, they need more time to prepare. When we go out, they will care about do you need a car or taxi or not? It is called hotel service !!But if you go to the main road just walk 20 mins, that could get to the places have a lot of restaurant, souvenir shop, massage shop, when I had a dinner from outside, the road to walk back is a bit dark but could enjoy a starry night!! Everyday had many styles of breakfast and the lombok coffee, the swimming pool condition are very good, I spent a lot of time in this spot. The Svarga Resort are the best hotel in Senggigi area I think, the room price are fair and the staff in there are dedicated service for me.If you want the romantic, relaxing, beautiful hoilday, you should pick this one for no doubt!!

We live in Jakarta so we really appreciated the fact that there were no cars or motorcycles on Gili. The service provided by the Gangga dive shop was great. They collected our gear the first day we arrived. They had it ready to go on the boat everyday (and washed and dried it every evening). The dive conditions were fantastic with great visibility and lots of sealife. The sunsets on the West side of the island are amazing! Our only complaint was that the A/C units didn't get as cold as we would have liked. Overall a great stay and we will definitely be returning.

Even before we arrived, the way the owners replied to my email, I could tell that they have put in a lot of effort to make the Puncak perfect. If there was a stronger word than perfect, I would use it. From the time we arrived, we experienced the best hospitality in my entire life (and I travel almost every month). The rooms were perfectly clean and extremely comfortable, there was even a handwritten note by the owner Jean-Paul himelf and his wife. The hotel is focused on being environmentally friendly and organic, which is really awesome especially in the food. BEST MEALS EVER, served right outside your room. You have to order in advanced though, because they put in a lot of effort and love into preparing each meal, so it takes time. The views from the rooms are simply breathtaking, as the entire compound only has 5 rooms, the pool is practically like a private pool. The staff are super attentive to your needs, although you hardly see them (its like magic, really). Jean-Paul even dropped by on our last night to check on us, which is really nice of him. This place is perfect for healing, to get away from city noise, and its really really relaxing, we wished we could have stayed longer. This is by far the best getaway we've ever had, and definitely would never be our last stay in the Puncak. Kudos to the owners and the staff for creating, designing and building this heaven in Lombok, we appreciate ALL the details (from the marble on the wall, to the comfy bedsheets, to the fresh flowers in the room and at every meal, the FOOD which is THE BEST OMG). I think this is the second best hotel in the island. Even though I found a scorpion in my bedroom. So please go on reading, because giving a score to a hotel in Gili is not a simple matter. Swimming with colored fish and turtles in Gili was one of the highlights of our Indonesian trip. Really incredible. But there's a price to pay: you have to stay in Gili islands, and they are not a good fit for an urbanite like myself. The Vamana hotel is relatively modern and clean, and the staff is nice and helpful (I think there are at least 15 people working there, and the hotel has 15 rooms). Looking from the outside, I would say that Vamana is definitely one of the top 5 hotels of Gili T. The only one that is clearly better is the Aston Sunset Hotel, which is isolated on the other side of the island. Vamana is in an absolutely perfect location: just close enough that you can walk anywhere you want to go, but on the edge of town so it's relatively quiet and you can actually go to the beach just in front of the hotel without having to share it with a trillion boats. Plus, this particular beach is one of the best places for snorkeling with fish and turtles: just grab your mask&finn and go into the water! Now, the scorpion issue... It was black, and about 6-8cm long. I don't have pictures because I has busy trying not to cry like a little girl while the staff came to kill it. Scary as hell. We cut our stay by one night because of this: we were just not resting as we should. But this is not an issue with Vamana hotel, it's an issue with the island itself. What you'll find behind all the hotels (even the Aston Sunset) is just jungle. Things live there, and they wander. Episodes such as the one we had must happen once a month in the better hotels, once a week in the not-so-great ones (they told us Vamana does a monthly anti-pest spray, which was coming the week after we left; maybe it should happen once every two weeks, but others may not even be doing any).

We stayed at the Novotel Kuta for 3 nights in August. On arrival we were informed that they had overbooked and the deluxe room we had booked was not available. We were then offered an upgrade to a villa, however this upgrade was not complimentary as it should have been and they made us pay an extra $100 USD. The room was amazing and we still got it for a lot cheaper than the normal rate, but forcing us to pay for their mistake in overbooking was terrible customer service, we asked if we could have breakfast included to compensate for their error and they refused. If this had not happened then our stay there would had been perfect. The hotel is beautiful, the food is great- best we've had in a hotel, however the drinks are overpriced with a small beer costing 45,000 rupiah, double what we had paid in other hotels. The pool is strangely positoned elevated right next to the restaurant with no decking surounding it and for a large resort only very small. They have a large expance of beach which is mostly unused, and nearly all the sunbeds are on the beach. These all filled up very quickly and we noticed a lot of people 'claiming' a chair first thing in the morning by placing their towel on it then going away. We just walked up an removed the towel and laid on the chair anyway - the hotel needs to enforce a policy that if you are not present and using the chair you can not claim it. We did really enjoy our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Kuta. Sunset from up the hill with 360 degree views of the bay was amazing. I hope my review doesn't sound too negative because despite these few minor things we had a wonderful stay and would definately stay there again and really enjoyed ourselves.

we stayed for 3 nights in an ocean view room with an extra bed for our 6 year old son. it was a perfect holiday for us. although it was quite rainy and windy while we were there, there was enough intermittent sunshine to get a tan and enjoy the pool. our airport pickup provided by the hotel set the tone for the rest of the stay - the driver was warm and spoke excellent english, and complimentary cold towels, orange juice and drinking water were waiting for us in the car. the driver overheard my son say he was in need of a toilet break and immediately pulled over at a nearby petrol station. the whole resort and rooms were maintained to very high standards. the rooms were fairly simple, but comfortable and met all our needs. we loved lounging on the large balcony, as well as in the pavillions jutting over the beach. breakfast was one of the highlights of the day. i loved the tropical sandwich (multi grain toast with slices of avocado and tomatoes with a poached egg atop that, served with tomato salsa) and lombok coffee. the complimentary tea offering of some cakes and snacks and a hot drink was also a lovely touch. the cocktails were very nice too, especially the one with arak and honey :) taxis are cheap enough in lombok and senggigi close enough (less than 10 min drive) that we didn't think twice about going to town for a meal. one dinner at square was particularly memorable, and they provided free transport back to the hotel which was nice too. i had one massage at the hotel and another at royal spa in senggigi. the hotel treatment was relaxing and pleasant - not the best massage i have ever received, but decent for just relaxing. however, the treatments were at least 10 minutes short of the alloted time for both my husband and i, which made the experience just a little less satifying. the massage at royal spa was great value at for 90 min, but while the masseuse was strong, it was fairly similar in quality to the hotel massage.

We rented a villa w/pool, the best value for the money. So nice to just relax in your own room pool outside your villa. Room was equipped with everything, even a dvd player. Outside modern rain shower shower head. Free bicycle rental to all guests staying there. It is about a 5-7 min bike ride to the main road. The main mode of transport is the horse drawn buggies, so be careful as you ride, they do trot along quickly on the road and it is to narrow for both the horse cart and a bicycle to pass. Just something to be aware of. You can easily ride around the island from where you started in about 30-40 mins of riding with some stops here and there. Wifi in the room was great, no problems picking up a signal everyday. There is a large common pool in the restaurant area for all to swim if you do not rent a pool villa. The property is very natural, quiet, could barely hear the mosque call to prayer, faint muffling sound. Such a peaceful, relaxing place, you will not forget this hotel. They have a sister property on Gili Meno, no horse carts, bicycles and walking is the mode of transpo on Meno. Everyone at Ottalia is super helpful, even the owner (who is French)came out from behind the check-in desk to ask us if we had any problems with our bicycles. We said, the tire light would not lock in place against the tire to generate power to light up, so he actually got positioned correctly and fixed it. The restaurant breakfast was tough, what I mean is, you can only order one main course breakfast item, eggs or french toast, its one or the other. They also havey two flavors Muselix cereal; chocolate and banana I believe, Yogurt and fresh fruits. Toast with assorted jams/jellies. Coffee, tea, milk, juices. Arggghhh! So, breakfast if pretty light for the appetite. If the hotel was to upgrade its kitchen and menu, I feel this would make the hotel very complete in a perfect place to stay and eat. We will definitely stay here again! Well worth the money!

Origin Lombok provided a fantastic service for the entire duration of our stay. The room was lovely and clean, with all the necessary facilities and amenities. The enclosed bathroom is absolutely perfect, containing a walk in shower and toilet, simple but with some nice touches to make it feel high end. There is also a mini bar, tv, safety deposit box and terrace with bed and bean bag to chill. The bed within the room is large and comfortable. When staying make sure you check out the resort restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious and impeccably presented whilst also being reasonably priced. My partner and I have eaten at many restaurants around Indonesia and this one is right up there with the best. The pool and bar area is a great place to chill, with the surrounding forest and hills it is a unique and very picturesque place to relax and have a swim and drink from the extensive range offered. As well as the facilities offered, the staff are a pleasure to be around, always so friendly and willing to help, each member of the team is an absolute credit to the resort. Whilst the resort is fantastic, the surrounding areas are a must see during your stay, conveniently the hotel offers a scooter hire service, which is very simplistic, so definitely do this and enjoy Kuta!

We stayed for 4 days , this hotel is a fantastic hotel with lots of shops, restaurants close by , the breakfast was excellent ,and their evening restaurant was reasonably price with delicious food . Our sea view room was beautiful, the best quality about this hotel is their wonderful, professional staff . I had to deal with calls and emails from home as my bank card was cloned in Bali , The senior hotel receptionist Jama and her junior front desk staff was absolutely wonderful, so helpful and accommodating, we also mistakenly took the remote control from our last hotel in Lombok and she very kindly organised the return. A truly wonderful relaxing 4 days spent in hotel.

It's a paradise on earth especially if you travel with children, there are tons of activities going on at Novotel Lombok. We stayed at the Villa for 2 nights, my only regret is that we should have stayed longer. We enjoyed every single moment at Novotel and the only time we went out was to have lunch at Ashtari. Check in was fast and efficient. The room was ready upon our arrival although we were an hour early. Staff are helpful and friendly. Room interior is of high quality and we were totally impressed. There was a specially arranged breakfast on the hill, a pleasant surprise! The beach at the back of the villa is breathtaking. There's a kids club that provide free nanny service. Pools are nice. Our kid played all day and made new friends everyday. F&B at the hotel is not that great though.. however, we still dine in the hotel for convenience sake, plus, the kid was really happy and doesn't want to go anywhere else. The restaurant is located right next to the beach.. the kids club and pool... so kids can just eat and play at the same time. Will definitely go back again!

Didnt put much expectation, but the airport transfer are excellent, breakfast is so-so in this area so I just give it a go,i assume the room totally use efficient energy or some kind of low emitting light else people would assume they use cheap lighting to reduce cost, the swimming pool also a bit smaller than i thought but I already put my expectation and its doesnt bother me much, so in overall, it is an excellent place rather than the other one place if you google so i give it a 5 star for its price

Jeeva the soul of paradise, literally meant in Indonesian and it reflect perfectly what it's called. We stayed for 3 night and regret we did not stayed in the villa. Beautiful villas, well appointed design. It's modern and very relaxing environment. But the most amazing part of it was the staff. People who work at jeeva always smiley and always there to assist. If I can give 11 star I would. Thank you so much jeeva santai for making our last stay so amazing. We will see you soon!

We spent almost 3 weeks in Bali and Lombok, and our trip to Mahamaya on Gili Meno was the highlight for us for sure. The rooms were super clean, comfortable and a good size. The price included free bikes, snorkeling gear and kayaks, and an la carte breakfast was plentyful, and there was a buffet of fruit, yogurt, and Indonesian food if the a la carte menu did not satisfy your hunger. The restaurant is located in front of the hotel right on the beach, and has the most spectacular, unobstructed view for sunset drinks and dinner. The food was at an extremely high level, and among the best that we had during our 3 week trip. There are two pools located behind the hotel, in the courtyard surround by rooms. A great spot to relax under an umbrella in the shade. The staff went above and beyond, and I mean all the staff, from reception, to restaurant staff, to housekeeping. Everyone in the hotel addressed us by our names, and the whole experience was personal. This kind of attention to detail is what puts Mahamaya above and beyond the other boutique hotels in Gili Meno which we visited for food. We had 3 short nights here, and our only regret is that we didnt stay longer. We were worried we would get bored on the island, but the beach and hotel lends itself to relaxing, with the option of grabbing a bike, kayak or snorkeling equipment to explore both on and off land. There is a small coral reef only meters from the beach and hotel which and non-confident swimmer can access. The water is crystal clear and you can even stand quite far out for those who are not confident in the water. As you can see, we enjoyed ourselves.

Although the villas are not in the central area of Gili T, everything the villas offer outweighs their minus points. Firstly, the villas have modern architecture with lots of space. The big couches and tables at the reception area are nice. The mini bar and restaurant are well organised. There is a clean playground, pools and a couple of private villas, too. Secondly, the staff are super helpful and friendly. Whenever they saw us, we saw smiles on their faces; I really mean sincere smiles, not fake or obligatory ones. Thirdly, the room is so nice, clean and comfortable that we didn’t want to leave the villas. The room is very well-furnished. Also, the welcome drink is really quality. However, there are many flies, and the smell of horse’s poo is annoying. Flies and the bad smell are the shared problems of the whole island. Overall, the Gili Khayangan Villas are one of the best accommodations I’ve ever experienced.

I think the hotel should give him the best employee award. Yuda handle me perfect from the first day to the last day at the hotel. Cheap hotel. Good atmosphere. Nice bedroom and beautiful open air bathroom. Good breakfast and good for iwik iwik ambyar 😂

Mola Mola is a fantastic resort! The location is perfect; I would say its situated on the best part of the island. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The free bicycles are a lovely touch. The pool however had a bit of a murky green color and not very inviting. Then again, who needs a pool when you have the ocean on your doorstep! Ample choices for breakfast. I was foolish enough to forget my bag containing my phone and all essential travel documents while heading to Gili Air. I only realized when I was on the boat. A few phone calls and low and behold my bag was brought to the harbor in Gili Air and shipped to Padang Bai on the next boat. You can imagine my relief when a perfectly packed parcel containing my bag and all its contents was handed over to me a couple of hours later! Thank you Mola Mola for all the effort. A shining example of caring for your guests. A small tip for fellow travelers; the Lumbung suites are lovely but not very practical in the heat. There's only a 1 ton split AC which of course can't possibly cool 2 floors. Also the design is not practical with closet space and bathroom on the ground floor and sleeping arrangements on the top floor. We had initially booked the Lumbung suite but moved to the Deluxe Suite which is fabulous! Highly recommended.

Pandawa offers good facilities for the right traveler, but service was below what you might expect. The saltwater pool is an awesome beach alternative for the day, free of the sharp coral bits & sand at the beach. The rooms are clean, nicely furnished & have daybeds inside & on the porch. And it's spot on the best east/west road on the island. Beyond this, don't get your expectations up. Staff seems less capable of conversing in English than many smaller hotels here. There are few key staff that seem sharp, but there are so many others that the others seem to take a very lackadaisical attitude to service here. Just attempting to order a Bintang at the pool bar can be a frustrating experience. For another example: very disappointing that there were so many flies at the breakfast area-- while there were fans on the ceiling that could blow the flies away, the fans weren't turned on. I recommend a stay here and enjoy the pool, but go off-campus for food, etc.

Located on the quiet west cost of gili trawangan with beautiful sunset, the resrurant of hotel is located at the beach with spacious dining hall and tables, chairs, beds on the beach for view of sunset. When weather is good you can see clearly the vocanal agung in Bali island. Facility in the hotel is contemporary with all necessary supplies, breakfast is buffet and colorful, which is unlike many other hotels on the islands gili. Free bicycles available in the hotel for guests, and it's convenient and good experience to ride around and into the island.

We had a great time at Kies. First booked three nights in a Deluxe Studio, which offers lots of comfort: comfortable couch, minibar, desk, a king size bed, outdoor bathroom with rain forest shower...and a lot more. We liked it so much so that we directly booked three further nights just on the arrival day. Unfortunately, the Deluxe Studio was not available anymore, so we moved to a Plush Pad...amazing! Rooms with very high standard, amazing outdoor bathroom with own palm and little garden in it. The rooms are directly located to the big pool, just perfect to relax and chill out. Even all the staff is so friendly, you can just have a great time at Kies Villas! The whole areal is made with lots of love to details, everything in the best condition! It's definitely the best value for money we experienced during three weeks in Bali/Lombok/Gilis!! Big thanks to the whole team for let us having such a great time! When we come back to Lombok we definitely will come back to Kies as well!!!

important thing to know about jeeva beloam is at remote area, bad road, no signal, and no electricity on scheduled time me and my husband already know and prepare ourself for this, but what we get is beyond expectation the hotel itself only have 11 room and since they know we're on honeymoon, they gave us room no 11 which have the best view for sunrise. very toughtful staff and we feel pampered there. always set up our room everyday with flower and decoration for the honeymooners. they have several activities too, so dont get yourself bored. we only go for trekking and snorkling at the pink beach. go to segui beach for sunset speaking of the meals there, because its in remote area, so the room rate are all inclusive for breakfast lunch and dinner. and the food was awesome for breakfast (although same everyday) lunch and dinner are very good. always get different menu every day dan the quality of the food is always the same. always really good we only book for 2 nights there and already feel missing that place. will come back again for sure thank you Mr. Haikal and the team :)

The location of the hotel is awesome. It's only 2 mins walk from the harbour. I booked a Seaview tent, but was assigned to a tent at the second row, where half of the view has been blocked by the tents in the first row. The water from the shower head in my tent was extremely slow and and the TV was not functioning. Fortunately the hotel staff was friendly enough to change us to a Seaview bungalow. The Seaview bungalow was excellent, but do expect loud music from the opposite island til midnight. And the power and water supply were cut off few times in a day, once during the midnight and once when I was in the midst of showering. The food available around the hotel is very limited. You gotta ride on a horsecart to those sunset view restaurants, which is about 15min away. Good things about the hotel is their staff are really well trained and helpful. All staff in the hotel would remember your name and great you every time they meet you. They do provide free bicycle, kayak etc.
